New Yorker Cafe

Make this hidden gem your last stop before jumping in a taxi and trying to get home before sunrise. It’s open 24 hours and is tucked away in the lobby of the Asok Suites (a stones throw from Exchange Tower) on Sukhumvit Road.

Cold Singha beer served in frosted mugs and gourmet grub whipped up right in front of your eyes by chef Kay.

It’s getting harder to find a good (read proper) Reuben Sandwich in Bangkok. The one here includes a generous lashing of Pastrimi, fresh Rye and top quality Sauerkraut. Don’t worry about the THB 395 price tag, just order another beer.

I highly recommend the waffles which are made fresh to order from scratch in front of your eyes. Smother them with maple syrup and top with scrambled eggs. Thank me later.
